ARTIST Daniela Cellie

Daniela Cellie is an artist with an EA professional career developed in the educational field, with extremely diversified roles (teacher, psychopedagogist, researcher, trainer, school principal, counselor and professor in university classes and masters).
She only recently approached the watercolouring world in a casual and playful way, while searching for inner wellbeing but possibly also searching for another part of herself, that hidden part controlled by the “need” to be dominant. Watercolouring represents for her the possibility to “just let go”, be guided and transported by water and its games, which take different shapes and meanings in a dynamic and progressive way.
Games that can be freely interpreted and transformed through one’s fantasy. Shades that combine, discern, divide, collide, that seem to stand out but then liquids swish and there’s no knowing where… they open curtains and they close them, gently and with the force of
mystery. Her art is made of a fluid and transparent watercolouring technique, emotional and free, where the shades and the glazes bring out the power of water; the essential element that regenerates everything, that melts and dilutes pain, that creates and floods us with light and kindness.

Daniela Cellie è una artista con vita professionale tutta svolta nell’ambito educativo rivestendo ruoli anche molto diversi tra loro (docente, psicopedagogista, ricercatrice, formatrice, dirigente scolastica, consulente e docente in corsi universitari e master). Si avvicina solo recentemente al mondo dell’acquerello in modo casuale e giocoso, alla ricerca dello star bene ma forse anche alla ricerca di un’ altra parte di sé, quella parte nascosta necessariamente controllata da un “dover essere” dominante.
Così l’acquerello rappresenta per lei la possibilità di lasciarsi andare, di lasciarsi guidare e trasportare dall’acqua e dai suoi giochi che assumono forme e significati in modo dinamico e in “progress”. Giochi che si possono interpretare e trasformare liberamente e con fantasia.
Colori sfumati che si accoppiano, si distinguono, si dividono, si fondono, che sembrano stagliarsi, ma poi guizzano liquidi e non si sa dove… aprono sipari e li chiudono, delicati e con la forza del mistero….
E’ un acquerello trasparente e fluido, emotivo e libero dove le sfumature e le velature esaltano il potere dell’acqua; l’elemento salvifico che tutto rigenera, che stempera e diluisce qualsiasi dolore, che crea e ci inonda di luce e di dolcezza.
